Crooked, uneven teeth will not only make you feel self-conscious, but it could be affecting your overall health. Chehalis Dental Care wants to help our patients feel more confident and healthier by offering Invisalign™ treatments.
Invisalign™ is an orthodontic treatment designed to slowly and subtly straighten teeth and correct alignment issues. It has successfully been used to treat gapped teeth, overbites, open bites, overly crowded teeth, underbites, and shifting teeth.
Invisalign™ works in a similar fashion to metal braces, but it does it in a way that is less restrictive and far less painful for the patient. Using a series of smooth, comfortable, virtually invisible aligners, Invisalign™ will gently shift and move your teeth back into proper alignment.
Every couple of weeks, the alignment tray will need to be switched out with the next tray in the series. Each of the alignment trays has been custom made to address your specific dental needs.
Patients who have Invisalign™ clear braces are able eat what they want. This is a dramatic improvement over metal braces, which place extreme limitations on the type of foods you can and cannot enjoy. Not to mention, the fact that eating can sometimes be extremely painful with metal braces, as the wires and rubber bands poke and prod the inside of the mouth.
We at Chehalis Dental Care are proud to offer our patients the option to use Invisalign™. After all, we want our patients to feel happy, comfortable, and confident with their smile, and we feel Invisalign™ can help our patients achieve this goal.
Once you have determined that Invisalign™ is for you, we will start work to create a series of custom made aligners that are based off of your individual tooth structure. The unique nature of the alignment trays allows the Invisalign™ treatment to target specific problems that you are facing and work to correct them without having to resort to clunky, painful braces.
If you are unsure about Invisalign™ or have any questions, we are here to help. We are happy to discuss Invisalign™ with you during your next appointment and explore how it can help you improve your smile.
